In high stakes poker, they have the opportunity to draw the river several times. If both players mutally agree to draw the river 'X' number of times, the pot is split up into 'X' equal pots. The dealer will then draw that many river cards, each complete river counting as a hand. The winner of each one gets one Xth of that pot. It's confusing I know, but it's something the casnino offers to help players from losing hundreds of thousands. :S

Seriously. A couple points: 1. I am stunned at the number of people calling her hand the second nuts when it clearly wasn't. 2. This was easily as bad a play as any I have ever seen and is actually worse than who fold A-high with quads on board or fold anything with Broadway on board with no flushes possible. Those are situations where the player doesn't understand what the nuts are. Here, Jennifer Tilly was aware of her hand and for some reason thought Antonius backed into quads for no reason

The rake in that game is brutal if these numbers are to be believed. With two limpers plus the blinds of $300/$600 the pot is $2100. Then Brian raises to $3300(3.5x BB +1BB for each limper), Patrik calls the extra $2500. Now there is $8100 in the pot on the flop. Brian bets 8k and Patrik cold calls. So there should be $24,100 in the pot on the turn, but the screen says the pot is $23,300 for a rake of $800! Quite a bit more than the $0.50 they would have payed to play this hand online.

first of all to suggest P.A wud do a certain play in a certain situation is totally undermining him he is capable of any play at any time that y he is so successful. agreed that townsends value bet was questionable. previous hands and table image would come into play on the value bet, maybe townsend just bluffed atonius out of a small pot a few hands before this. but the chk raise call was a huge call so few hands he could beat obv but im sure he has made crazy calls before that were right.
