ima be honest here at first i was thinken this game was ganna be another arcade type. after playin forza 3 and then playing shift, shifts physics are incredible, no other game feels this good. its fast smooth and when tunning its effects you and feel when changing a setting. but forza man its slow and feel undone. has nice cars but, but im still wondering why that stupid glitch where your revs stop for few sec and then you accelerate, still wondering why that hasnt been fixed yet.

this game is full of a bunch of people who don't know how to race cause they've bin playing games like underground to much and the only way they know how to pass some one is by hitting them first. I've got a 70 to 5 win to loss streak going and the five losses were from when i first started the game. If anyone knows there pretty good then reply to my comment (i play on the ps3) i need a little more competition, and get a little more losses at the same time lol, If not don't waste my time.

Great car game engine BUT the word "Need for Speed" is suppose to be anywhere you Need it, not in the formal racetrack.. In here it's like throwing away Speed in Traffic game fanboy.. It all depends on the car you are driving. You cannot tell someone what the ideal RPM for shifiting is. If you have a small car (with a small engine), you need more RPM when shifting up so you won't block everyone's way trying to reach your travel speed.

@jimraptor83 3 sec slide: Switch off the stability conrol, the traction control and the anti lock brakes. Then choose the BMW M3 E46 (works) and try to drive straight ahead. :) Start the drift with the brake (70:30 ratio front/rear), hold the drift with throttle and maybe use the handbrake. Practise it 1-3 times. You will figure it out with this setup. It already helped some ppl. quickly. Regards Sorry for my bad engl. skills Ares

@jimraptor83 Spin Opponents: Hmmm. Just had to do that 2 Times. Just try to spin them, when u can hit them in the back from the side. Entering and leaving hard corners is a great chance to get one. Enable the traction and stability control and the anti lock brak, so its esier for you. Moreover you can choose the AI difficulty level on "easy". Take a car that drives stable.

I like the drift modus. Since i play with the Logitech - "Formula Force EX" the gameplay is hardcore. It makes so much fun. For me the Drift-Modus is now the best part of the game. Moreover the "Replay-Funktion" is very nice. The drifts in replay can be very impressive. Just sad that the support on PC suxx as hell. :(

@LCHStateChamps I read somewhere that IBM has already simulated a cat's brain on a supercomputer. The aim is to work out how synapses process complex information, and then implement it into silicon chips. Eventually they'll simulate the human brain using computers, and they could do everything we can do if the 'hardware' is modelled properly. I think it would be possible to simulate the way a human learns and categorises and outputs information, on computer.

@Judahmangi You realize humans are essentially computers. Our DNA, IMO, is basically a base-4 number system, similar to binary. Our minds are very complex networks of neurons, but in the end, they are all governed by simple underlying laws, just like the computer programs we define.

That is bull CRAP! A computer will never be smarter than a human (well depending on the human). Can a computer compose a great synphony (spelling?) a robot will never have better judgment than a human. A robot can not make moral choices, and even if they program it to have *morals* its morals will be just as corrupt as most scientists!
